Refined corn products are widely consumed but offer fewer health benefits. They are frequently found as ingredients in processed food, such as tortillas, tortilla chips, polenta, cornmeal, corn flour, corn syrup, and corn oil.


As summer soon comes to an end, get out to your local farmers market and pick up a few ears of corn to throw on the grill or boil on the stovetop. It's a great addition to any meal with plenty of health benefits.
