On Thursday, March 21, the Go Green team organized a volunteer event at The Brick Companies Center. This event brought together TBC Corporate and Atlantic Marinas team members in collaboration with the Oyster Recovery Partnership for a commendable "Good Works" project. The initiative involved constructing oyster cages for the Marylanders Grow Oysters Program, aiding in the rejuvenation of the Chesapeake Bay. 🛠️🌿

These cages will be used to grow spat (young oysters) and keep them safe. Volunteers, like our very own Atlantic Marinas, will care for the spat by rinsing off the cages and providing a safe environment for the oyster to mature. Once mature, the oysters will be transplanted to a local sanctuary.

The excitement continued beyond the volunteer work as the team indulged in a fun-filled social gathering, mastering the skill of oyster shucking and enjoying delicious food and great company. 🦪🔪

Together, we're making waves for a sustainable future!💚
